Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Motivational Messages with African Young Strikes

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has delivered two powerful messages to young strikers following his remarkable performance in Gabon’s thrilling 4–3 victory over Gambia at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi.

The 36-year-old Gabon captain rolled back the years with an incredible display, scoring all four of his team’s goals in the World Cup qualifying clash. Although he was sent off in the 86th minute after receiving a second yellow card, Aubameyang’s influence was instrumental in helping the Panthers secure a crucial win that keeps their 2026 FIFA World Cup hopes alive in CAF Group F.

Work Hard and Believe in Yourself

After the match, Aubameyang emphasized the importance of hard work, self-belief, and consistency for any young footballer hoping to succeed.

“You have to work hard and believe in yourself,” the striker said. “To have a long career, the most important thing is to look after your body, maintain a consistent routine, and never lose faith in your abilities.”

Aubameyang, who has enjoyed a glittering career across Europe, including stints at Arsenal and Barcelona, revealed that his motivation comes from representing his country and inspiring others through his performances.

“I’m still very motivated,” he explained. “When you have the opportunity to play at a World Cup, it gives you extra energy. We have a strong group, and at 36, I just want to keep enjoying football and bring joy to the fans.”

His leadership and four-goal performance earned widespread praise from fans and pundits, underlining his continued importance to Gabon’s national team.

Gabon now turn their attention to their next World Cup qualifier against Burundi. A victory could secure their place at the 2026 tournament, depending on the outcome of the other Group F match between Kenya and Ivory Coast, set to take place on Tuesday.
