Following a dismal display and subsequent elimination of Real Madrid from the Champions League by Arsenal, reports have indicated that coach Ancelotti is likely to be sacked. The club has decided to give him a last chance to win silverware when Madrid will later face off with Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final on 26^th, April.

Jürgen Klopp, the former Liverpool boss, is heavily linked to the Madrid job in case the club decides to relieve Ancelotti of his duties. Klopp has already expressed interest and would be willing to negotiate the terms.

Kosicke has emphasized that Klopp is happy in his role as the head of global soccer for Red Bull and would not take up a managerial role, either in Brazil or Madrid.

Kosicke has also clarified that Jurgen Klopp has in the past and recently received several managerial offers, but he still maintains that he has no interest in going back to the strains and stresses of management.
